My path to becoming a Chef didn’t start in a fancy culinary school; it started with a specific failure in my family kitchen when I was 10 years old.

I tried to make a sponge cake for a family gathering. I was so confident that I refused to look at the recipe halfway through. I mixed up the salt and sugar ratios. When the cake came out of the oven, it looked beautiful, but it tasted terrible. My family tried to be polite, but we all ended up laughing about it over tea.

That moment taught me a lesson I still use today: cooking requires respect for the ingredients. It is not just about throwing things in a pot; it is about precision and patience.
