Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Add ½ cup marinara sauce to the mixture, mixing until everything is well incorporated.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into the prepared loaf pan.
Spread a thin layer of extra marinara sauce on top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C), then let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
