Instructions
Spray the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, 1 2/3 cups milk, oil, and eggs until well combined.
Pour the cake batter evenly into the greased slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and 2 cups cold milk for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Gently pour the pudding mixture over the cake batter—do not stir.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the edges are set but the center is still gooey.
Turn off the slow cooker and let it sit for 10–15 minutes before serving.
Scoop the warm cake into bowls, top with vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Enjoy immediately for that molten fudge lava effect!
