Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and sourdough discard until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
Fold in the diced apples evenly throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
