Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion the dough and roll it into small balls.
- Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Press each dough ball gently with a fork to create a crisscross pattern on top.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly golden.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the sheet for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
