Instructions

Add shredded turkey and uncooked rice; stir to coat with the aromatics.
Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the rice is tender, adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional butter.
Stir in lemon juice for freshness, if desired.
Remove bay leaf, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
Let the soup rest for 5 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
