Ingredients
- 1 pie crust 9-inch, unbaked
- 2 cups Greek yogurt full-fat
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup natural honey plus extra for drizzling
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or sesame seeds optional topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place pie crust into a greased pie dish and lightly press into shape.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, eggs, honey, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add lemon zest, salt, flour, and melted butter, mixing until fully combined.
- Pour filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the center is just set and lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Drizzle generously with warm honey over the top.
- Sprinkle with chopped walnuts or sesame seeds if desired. Chill for 1-2 hours before slicing for best texture.
