Instructions
Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for consistent cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Dredge the chicken lightly in grated Parmesan cheese, pressing gently to coat.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Once hot, add the chicken.
Cook for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Stir in heavy cream and remaining Parmesan, whisking until the sauce thickens and turns creamy.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan before serving.
