Ingredients

large chicken breasts

olive oil or butter

garlic

grated Parmesan cheese

Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste

uncooked rice
optional, for serving

chicken broth

Instructions
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Add chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
Return chicken to the pan, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
Cover and cook until chicken is fully cooked through.
Spoon sauce over chicken while cooking.
Cook rice separately using broth if serving alongside.
Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
