Instructions
In a large bowl, mix sourdough starter, warm milk, melted butter, and honey until smooth.
Add flour and salt, then mix until a soft dough forms.
Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
Perform gentle stretch-and-folds for 1-2 minutes until dough becomes smooth.
Cover and let rise at room temperature until doubled in size.
Shape dough into a tight loaf and place into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Cover and allow to proof until the dough rises just above the rim of the pan.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
Remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
