Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a thick dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance texture.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
