Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sourdough discard
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika optional
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, sourdough discard, butter, and salt. Mix until a smooth, cohesive mixture forms.
- Gradually add flour and paprika (if using), mixing until a soft dough develops. It should be slightly sticky but easy to handle.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough out to about ⅛-inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into small squares using a knife or pizza cutter, and poke a few holes in each cracker with a fork.
