These Crispy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls combine everything you love about a classic cheeseburger, savory beef, melty cheddar, tangy pickles, and signature burger sauce, wrapped in a golden, crunchy egg roll shell. They’re easy to prepare, incredibly satisfying, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party finger food.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onions, cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring and breaking up the beef as it browns.
When onions are translucent, drain excess fat, Add pickles, mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, Stir until everything is evenly combined, remove from heat and let the mixture rest for 5 minutes to cool slightly.
Lay 1 wrapper like a diamond (one corner facing you), Place half a slice of cheddar cheese in the center. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture on top. Fold the bottom corner over the filling. Fold in the side corners tightly. Roll toward the top corner to seal.
Brush edges with beaten egg to secure, Add a second layer of egg wash along the seam for extra hold.
Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (180°C). Test with a small wrapper piece, if it sizzles, it’s ready.
Place rolls seam-side down in oil. Fry 3-4 minutes, turning until golden brown, transfer to paper towels to drain.
Let them cool briefly, they’ll be extremely hot inside. Serve with ketchup, mustard, burger sauce, or spicy mayo.
