1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
Fresh parsleychopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease from the pan.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender and most of the moisture has evaporated. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Stir in heavy cream and cream of mushroom soup, then simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
In a greased baking dish, spread half of the cooked pasta evenly on the bottom.
Layer half of the beef and mushroom mixture over the pasta. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
Repeat the layers with remaining pasta, beef mixture, and finish with the remaining cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden top if desired. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
