Ingredients
- 1 box vanilla or white cake mix
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
- ¾ cup red and green M&M’s or festive sprinkles
- ½ cup white chocolate chips optional for extra sweetness
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, egg, and extract. Stir until a thick dough forms.
- Gently fold in festive sprinkles or M&M’s and white chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
- Chill the dough for about 10-15 minutes if it feels too soft.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing each cookie about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
