Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch round pan.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine well.
Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
Spread the dough into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly soft.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing or decorating.
