Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it and let cool completely on a wire rack.
